History
History Of Equestrian Federation of Pakistan
- Equestrian Federation of Pakistan (EFP) officially formed in 1980 as National Governing Body for Equestrian Sports in Pakistan.
- Till 2013, EFP worked under President Body Guards
- All equestrian sports (Exempt Polo) shifted to Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) on 10 April 2014
- Meeting held at Headquarters Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), chaired by Maj Gen Khan Tahir Javed Khan on 10 Apr 2014 to decide administrative and Organization structure of EFP
- Current EB Organizations/ Members voted in favor of Pakistan Rangers Punjab so EFP came under the umbrella of Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) and Since 2014, current EB is part of EFP organization
Historical Events and Achievements
Asian Games:
- It was held in 1982 at New Delhi, India.
- In 1982, Sardar Fateh Khan participated in the Ninth Asian Games held in Delhi, winning the silver medal for Pakistan.
Nehru Cup :
- It was held between 11 and 27 January 1984 in Calcutta.
- The Participants are Sardar Fateh Khan, Al Mustafa Imam, Malik Asif Yar Tiwana, Amer Munawar, Mian Arshsad Hayat.
- Pakistan Won the Nehru Cup.
